How to keep New Year's Resolutions?

 Happy New Year to You All !

We all start the new year with lots of resolutions. How many of you have set yourself new goals? But how many of you are going to achieve them?   Most of us make too many resolutions and sometime very unrealistic ones hence we are never able to follow up on them. By setting realistic goals and having a coach you are 90%  more likely to  achieve your results !

It is very important to feel confident in your own abilities to achieve things . If you do not have confidence in yourself, it becomes very difficult to keep up with your set resolutions and actions.  You will start to expect failure, and the more you expect failure, the more likely you are to fail.
Here are ten tips you can use to help feel better about yourself and achieve your goals:


1. Set Realistic Goals – The more you achieve your goals the better you’ll feel about future goals. But the goals should be things that you know you can easily attain.

2. Try Again – When you struggle at something, force yourself to try again anyway. Allowing yourself to fail will only reinforce your beliefs.

3. Surround Yourself with Positive People – The people you surround yourself with affect how you feel about yourself.

4. Exercise – If you are healthier and more fit, you will feel better about yourself.

5. Watch Your Diet – The foods you eat can affect your mood. Eat healthier and you will feel happier.

6. Avoid Destructive Behaviours – Often times regret can cause you to not feel good enough. Do fewer things that you will regret, such as drugs, alcohol or gambling, and you will avoid those lower feelings of self worth.

7. Find Hobbies – When you do things you enjoy, you take your mind off the things that bring you down and keep them focus on something that makes you productive.

8. Be Nice to People – When you are nicer to people, people will be nicer to you. It sounds unusual, but it is very effective.

9. Dress to Impress – Try to make yourself sound more presentable. Relieving the doubt you have about your appearance helps relieve doubts about other aspects of your life as well.

10. Smile – Smiles are contagious, and smiles help you feel good about yourself. But sometimes you need to be the first to smile in order to get others to follow.


To achieve what you want in life, you need to feel you are good enough to do so. Feeling good about yourself is a self fulfilling prophecy, so the more you can do to help feel good about yourself, the more likely events will occur that help improve your outlook.
